Quintet BELTANGO brings together five gifted young artists:

They come from Belgrade (Serbia), the European metropolis which, as the Argentineans themselves used to say, smells on the soul of Buenos Aries.
In their rich, ten years lasting career they have been performed on the stages of the greatest tango festivals – Argentina, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Finland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovenia…
In its public performances, the ensemble BELTANGO is trying to present to the audience all abundance of the tango repertoire, so that, apart from traditional tango numbers, as well as compositions of tango-nuevo trend of Astor Piazzolla, it includes also new compositions of contemporary authors who find their inspiration in tango, but all in adhering to its basic idea, they do not hesitate to make small excursions to some other musical trends, specially to Balkan music, and combine them with tango.
BELTANGO is the only tango orchestra from Europe which was invited by Ministry of Culture of Buenos Aires to perform at most prestigious „World Tango Festival – Buenos Aires 2007“.

Muzycy są absolwentami Akademii Muzycznej im F. Chopina w Warszawie. Każdy z nich posiada w swoim dorobku artystycznym tytuły laureatów prestiżowych konkursów i przeglądów muzycznych oraz wiele odbytych koncertów w kraju i za granicą (m.in.: Austria, Czechy, Belgia, Niemcy, Litwa, Ukraina, Włochy, Wielka Brytania).Są ponadto wielokrotnymi stypendystami Ministra Kultury i Sztuki. Indywidualnie współpracują z wieloma instytucjami kulturalnymi, zespołami i muzykami.
Wspólnie, jako Sentido del Tango, artyści koncertują od 2007 roku, wykonując muzykę w gatunku Tango Nuevo, klasyczne tanga argentyńskie we własnych aranżacjach oraz kompozycje własne. Dzięki niespotykanemu zestawieniu instrumentów (bandoneon/akordina, fortepian, gitara) oraz ogromnej pasji i wielu pomysłom zespół stara się nadać tej muzyce indywidualny charakter.
Po jednym z koncertów (Teatr „Maska” w Rzeszowie) Małgorzata Tokarz - krytyk sztuki, napisała: (…) Koncert „Sentido del Tango” był absolutnie mistrzowski i tak bardzo energetyzujący, że nawet i miłośnicy znacznie swobodniejszej muzy słuchali go w hipnotyzującym skupieniu.
