Diego “El Pajaro” Riemer, renaissance kind of artist – expressing himself through music, drawing, advertising and dance . He started learning tango in his home town - Buenos Aires, instructed mainly by his first master - Tito Molinari, yet learning simultanously from other „old dancers“, from milongueros. Later he has been mastering his technique while working with many famous teachers. Soon after he moved to Europe in 2000 his international career sped up and Diego became an inspiration for many dancers, especially thanks to his exceptional musicality and unrepeatable way of interpreting milongas. He was recognized as a natural born master of improvisation. His traspié, caminatas, giros with enrosques, unique technique and precision in teaching both tango and its culture brought him world fame. Thanks to his experience in playing percussion his playing with rhythm in tango, vals and milonga is absolutely exceptional and characteristic.
He has been dancing with such dancers as Maria Plazaola, Elina Roldan, Mercedes Espinel, Victoria Vieyra, Eugenia Parrilla, Alejandra Mantinan, Sigrid Van Tilbeurgh and Maria Belén Giachello (since 2008).
